Independent Futures offers 24 hours support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, Autism Spectrum disorders, mental health issues, epilepsy and ADHD, to live an empowered and fulfilling life.
The aim of Independent Futures is to provide individuals with a person centred approach to enable them to learn the necessary life skills to ensure greater independence in all areas of their life.
We also offer an outreach service to people living independently in their own homes, who may need a little support with self-care, medication, shopping, emotional support and community inclusion.
Dedicated Team
To date we have over 160 dedicated staff, supporting 32 service users living in their own homes, right across the Sunderland area and they range from single person accommodation to shared living.
